May 15, 2014- In a huge development, all of Ground Zero Park is now wide open. No tickets are required. Only the small central building that leads to the underground memorial requires a ticket.
One can also now cross at ground level from Liberty Street over to the park. Bicycles are allowed, for now.
The two large waterfall squares are impressive. This park will be a bigger tourist draw than we had previously anticipated.
Bike riding should not be permitted in the 9/11 Memorial. That is disrespectful.

I agree. I should have made it clear that my Citi Bike was walked, not ridden. They might eventually ban them, as well.
Yes, skateboarders, etc. should not be allowed. The Ground Zero park is really a hallowed cemetery like Arlington National.
