July 10, 2014- By Steven E. Greer, MD
The first ever meeting of the “Friends of BPC” Block Association meeting took place today. Four people attended the meeting, and others expressed interest but were working. Attendees represented Gateway Plaza, North, and South BPC.
The next plan of action will be to attend CB1 and BPCA meetings. The next dates for those meetings are:
- July 17th- BPCA meeting at 9:00 AM, WFC building 1, 24th floor
- July 29th- CB1 monthly meeting, 6:00 PM at NYC Rescue Mission, 90 Lafayette Street
As the group grows, formal leadership positions, platforms, agendas, etc. will be determined. Please contact us if you would like to join.
Hello!
I am very interesting in joining your Friends of BPC block association. I have lived in Gateway since 2008, am a parent to two young children, and my oldest attends a local public school.
I am very passionate and invested in this community, and thank you for your great coverage in BPTV.
I was the waitlisted parent last year who organized a petition for more kindergarten classrooms, and thought that you had the most up to date and accurate information on the issue.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
AM
Hi ,
I am a home owner on Albany St.
Would like to be a part of the Association.
Please let me know when the next meeting will take place.
Kind regards,
DB
Please include me. I have owned a condo in Hudson Tower on Albany Street for the past 25 years and, in spite of the address below, consider myself a full time resident with many issues concerning BPCA.
I travel a good deal to lecture but am mostly here, eager and fearless in taking on BPCA.
I would like to be added to the distribution list.
