November 25, 2014- Be careful if you venture out. While it is calm down here, not far away, thousands of protestors are shutting down bridges and Times Square, etc. If you have to travel to Midtown or take the subways, be careful. Your building should also have a security plan in place.
“Second night of riots in NYC shuts down bridges and Times square?” Riots? Really?
Groundbreaking reporting by BPTV. The only source to uncover and report on two nights of “riots” in NYC. BPTV truly informs. If not for BPTV, the world would have been led to believe that there have been two nights of peaceful protests in NYC – not two nights of riots.
Mr. Trivedi
You make several factual and logical errors in your comment. First, you clearly are assuming we are some sort of racist opposition news site opposed to people protesting Nazi cops who shoot unarmed people. You must not have read our story on August 14 “BatteryPark.TV strongly supports the protestors in Ferguson, Missouri”.
Your next mistake was to say that our use of the word “riot” was inaccurate. For the last two days, many of the largest portions of Manhattan, along with the major bridges have been shut down. The Commissioner of the NYPD was assaulted with red paint. Scores of people have been arrested. Those are not “protests”.
While it is likely true that most people in NYC are simply protesting, as in Ferguson, the organized events have been hijacked by the anarchists and punks looking to get violent and intimidate in a mob.
But enough of the rhetoric and essay writing. Do this for me please: go to Times Square or any of the other locations tonight and send me a photo of yourself amidst the “peaceful protestors” Will you do that for me?
Thanks.
