December 10, 2013- Brookfield Place has continually moved the goalposts on the opening date. With large banners in 2012 that said “Opening in 2013”, those were changed to “Coming soon, 2014”. Now, in an interview with the Post, Ed Hogan stated that the shops will not be open for business until 2015.
Hopefully, the bike lane along the West Side Highway will be opened this year. The Citi Bike detour through the esplanade is a major problem.
