BPCA does a 180, decides to keep funding the Stuyvesant community center

November 26, 2013- In a complete reversal, the BPCA has decided to keep the Stuyvesant community center open, rather than cut off the $203,000 in funding spent each year. The cost is mostly for BPC Parks Conservancy staff to run it. The rest of the infrastructure resides within a DOE-run city school.
