The Battery Park City Authority will be addressing our previous reporting of the parks falling into disrepair. Tomorrow, at the CB1 meeting, the topics will be:

- Post Sandy Repairs – Update by Battery Park City Authority
- Traffic Calming/Pedestrian Enhancements Working Group – Update
The reason that the various projects have been neglected for so long, uncharacteristically by the Parks Conservancy, is that the BPCA eliminated key staff who normally would have rapidly made the repairs in-house. Now, the BPCA is preferring to hire outside contractors, with the RFP process and delays.
