BatteryPark.TV has previously highlighted what could be perceived as a pro-BPCA agenda and bias in the local advertising flier the Broadsheet. In the electronic version can now be seen one of the ads placed by the BPCA promoting the River and Blues functions. Why the BPCA feels compelled to advertise such events is unknown given that they are free and already well attended. It is uncertain whether the Broadsheet was paid for the promotional ads. Meanwhile, the Broadsheet attempts to cover the actions of the BPCA as “journalism”.
