Update November 14, 2014- Correction: Javier Bardem and his wife Penelope Cruz never moved into 2 River Terrace. They made an offer that was too low and not accepted.

Also, it seems that the main reason all of the other celebrities chose this building is because of the pioneering move by Leo Di Caprio. He set the trend.

Yesterday evening, I was riding a bike southbound on the HRP path, and skateboarding northbound towards me was a man in shorts, green T-shirt, and big backpack. As he got closer, I realized it was NBA MVP Steve Nash, who now plays for the Lakers.

I did a double-take and almost stalked him for a photo, but decided against it.

He was on his way to Pier 40 to play soccer.

Nash is a funny guy. He is still a big celebrity, but he walks around in gym clothes by himself, with no cares in the world.

Right after that, I rode by Vesey and saw John Franco dining outside at El Vez.

The day before, I saw Will Smith hanging outside of 2 River Terrace with friends.

If you see interesting people and things, send us a note.

I saw Nash last year, walking around by the BB courts in shorts/sneaks, carrying a basketball and I thought “Who the hell can he find around here that can give him any competition?”

  2. Editor says:

I love Nash and his non-pretentious no-nonsense attitude, all the while being an awesome athlete

I saw Patricia Richey the Nashville country singer doing an interview while walking past with my bike. (I hadn’t heard of her before but she was hot)

She was talking about her grandfather coming from a Ireland and how he would have loved the museum which was pretty cool and make me look at the spot in a new light.
I googled her after and she is pretty good. She does The hunger games doing Safe and Sound
