Complaints about dogs using Teardrop Park as a bathroom

Greer At the monthly CB1 Battery Park City subcommittee meeting, CB1 member Dennis Gault, who lives in North BPC, raised the issue of dog owners allowing their pets into the dog-free Teardrop Park to use the bathroom. Once again, the point was made that the Parks Enforcement Patrol (PEP) are not anticipating predictable hotspot problem areas, and that a greater presence is required. The board seemed prepared to recommend that the PEP begin issuing monetary fines to violators, until dog advocate Jeff Galloway
