Tour buses of Conrad HotelSeptember 2, 2013- By Steven E. Greer

The problem of tour buses illegally parking on North End Avenue has returned, after a community effort had eradicated the scourge. The Conrad Hotel is the reason. Junior front desk “managers” are belligerently ignoring the law and memos from Hilton corporation headquarters by allowing guests in large groups to park their tour buses on North End Avenue. The area is a “No standing” zone as well as a turning lane (Even brief stops are not allowed).

BP.TV called the Conrad Hotel on multiple occasions to explain that the buses are not allowed. One manager named Zeeshan simply ignored the situation.

On September 2nd, when buses photographed above were parked, the North PEP office nearby dispatched officers who were able to have the buses removed. (This new PEP office number is (212) 945-3410.)

If you see tour buses parked anywhere in BPC, the most effective first step is to call the PEP office. You can also take photographs and forward them to the City DOT, which keeps a database and will contact the bus companies (Email us for those contact).
