The nation has started the process of lifting home-quarantine orders and people have started to return to Florida beaches and New York golf courses. As this happens, there will be widely varying perspectives from Americans living in New York as compared to South Dakota. Those still under house arrest will be justifiably envious.
The mainstream media is clustered inside the Manhattan Bubble, where there is no hint of a lifting of the home-quarantine orders, and will be spewing more and more opinion pieces aimed at making the rest of America seem like hayseed country bumpkin morons for going back to normality. Are they correct or are they misguided and dishonest?
The dirty little secret that everyone knows inside Cuomo’s offices in Albany, Manhattan hospital board rooms, and City Hall is that the high death rate is being generated from focal hot spots within Queens and other outer boroughs where Third World conditions have existed for centuries. This is not a national pandemic worthy of shutting down the global economy. This is a New York problem that can be further isolated as a problem of hot spots within Queens, etc.
As of today, 46% of all national deaths have come from New York (17,000 out of 37,000). Most of the new daily cases are from New York.
It is unknown precisely where the deaths have occurred because the New York City health department is covering up the mortality rates per hospital. New York has provided hospital-based mortality rates for decades and now has suddenly stopped doing this.
As previously detailed, a handful of hospitals outside of Manhattan have been so poorly managed, with many examples of frank corruption, that Governor Cuomo considered shutting them down. The NY Times has covered this story for decades. However, Cuomo, in his infinite wisdom, chose to throw $8 Billion at the dumpster fires. To deflect from his own shortcomings, Governor Cuomo has doubled down on his criticism of the federal government and President Trump.
These same hospitals are now the ones treating most of the coronavirus patients. The staff are heroes risking their lives, but their managers are incompetent and corrupt. The doctors staffing these hospitals are not the best. It is hard to find competent doctors to work in these hospitals.
In addition to poor medical care, the overall conditions in these neighborhoods are the same as any Third World country in South America. In fact, most of the residents are immigrants from those regions and have no private insurance. These are Medicaid neighborhoods and our corrupt American healthcare system favors private insurance (read The Medical Advocate).
New York is not just the biggest city in the country. It also has the widest variety and highest concentrations of immigrants without proper healthcare. Elsewhere, patients with any type of illness, including coronavirus, receive night and day different care. The populations outside of New York City are also far less concentrated, making it harder for infectious diseases to spread.
This coronavirus causing the pandemic, technically known to scientists as SARS-CoV-2 (not COVID-19, which is a nonsense term created by the W.H.O.), is far less virulent than the 1918 Spanish flu that killed 500,000 Americans and 30 Million around the world. The Spanish flu killed the youngest and strongest of people. People would first suffer symptoms and then die within 12-hours. Their skin changed color to black and blue. Their noses spewed blood. It was much more like the recent Ebola outbreak. In contrast, this coronavirus selectively kills certain populations with underlying medical ailments. The young and healthy almost always survive or even fail to know they were sick at all. The overall death rate will certainly come down once the true prevalence of the virus is determined.
Our leaders have overreacted to this epidemic. They were led over the cliff by the fearmongering of Anthony Fauci who pretended to have accurate scientific models predicting 200,000 deaths when he really had nothing. He was bluffing. Despite the retrospective claims that “mitigation” and “social distancing” are the reasons deaths were lower than expected, there is not a shred of scientific evidence support that. It is simply propaganda by the people who created this man-made catastrophe (the virus was man-made in China and the overreaction leading to the global depression was man-made).
As a result of the draconian unconstitutional actions by our federal and state leaders, trillions of dollars of assets have been lost globally. Real homes and small businesses have been taken away from people who had thriving businesses just two-months ago. The Paycheck Protection Program and other stimulus plans have failed to help the vast majority suffering. There are already long lines at food pantries around the country. True suffering greater than that seen in the 1930’s is upon us.
The United States of America is a culture that values liberty over life. The slogan “Give me liberty of give me death” says it all. The small risk to the nation from coronavirus does not warrant the suspension of our liberties.
This false-pandemic has been nothing but an excuse for the far-left in their ivory towers to turn a crisis into a social agenda opportunity. They sit around all day long scheming grand theories of remaking the world order.
Of note, President Woodrow Wilson was one of these elites. He was the President of Princeton before becoming POTUS. He first led the nation into futile World War One purely due to his huge ego and grand theory to remake the Western World under his 14-point plan. Then, the Spanish flue came along and was treated as an inconvenience to his plans. He ordered is propaganda soldiers to stifle coverage of the deaths. He had no federal policy to “social distance” He packed hundreds of thousands of healthy Americans into ships to go to Europe knowing they would contract the Spanish flu.
Ironically, the flu killed so many people, and scared people away from the election booths, that Wilson lost the congress to the Republicans who derailed his efforts to shape Europe after the armistice. His own propaganda campaigns that stifled dissent also turned off his liberal base, ironically again.
For the academic elites, they view their idealism as divine intervention. Any mean justifies the end. Today, shutting down the global economy is a mere “inconvenience” according to Anthony Fauci, who will never lose his federal job under any circumstances.
Pay attention to every person in the media critical of reopening the country. None of them have jobs in jeopardy. They are elected officials or are somehow being paid by the taxpayer. Every pundit on the liberal TV shows is paid by grants from larger organizations.
Not only does the nation need to reopen immediately, but actions must be taken to prevent the government from doing this again. If not, it will be very easy to use the annual spread of disease as an excuse to alter elections and stage coups. The current governors who overreached the most must be ousted by armed mobs. Then, there needs to be a constitutional convention to update the laws of the land.
“This ain’t no party, this ain’t no disco,
This ain’t no fooling around
No time for dancing, or lovey dovey,
I ain’t got time for that now
Transmit the message, to the receiver,
Hope for an answer some day
I got three passports, a couple of visas,
You don’t even know my real name
High on a hillside, the trucks are loading,
Everything’s ready to roll
I sleep in the daytime, I work in the nighttime,
I might not ever get home
This ain’t no party, this ain’t no disco,
This ain’t no… “
