I was noticing how the construction at the Brookfield Place food court is still ongoing, with bare ceilings, etc. So, the opening date of next week was obviously going to be missed.
I asked Brookfield for a comment, and they ignored me, which is never a good sign.
I then spoke to a restaurant owner who will be in the food court, and he said that their restaurant will not be opening until July. I also spoke with another person familiar with the place, who propagated a rumor of a June opening.
Therefore, the most reliable source to go by has told us that July is when Brookfield Place’s Hudson Eats will open.
Of note, the ground floor Poulakakos “Le District” is nowhere near opening. Also, the main entrance in the south of Brookfield is a month or more away from completion.
