Whole Foods in Tribeca has an ice cream and coffee station near the exit. It has always served gelato, not real ice cream. We noticed that they have now switched to an artisan ice cream made in Brooklyn (of course), Steve’s Ice Cream. It’s good.
Steve’s isn’t made in Brooklyn at all. It is made in New Jersey.
