Gristedes to be inspected by the state again

February, 3, 2014- In response to reports of ongoing frozen food and produce quality problems, the New York State Agriculture Department (which oversees grocery stores) will “…conduct a full sanitary inspection of this firm promptly”. The frozen foods are melting, then refreezing, and produce is rotten or too green.

    This is great news… I also filed a email complaint a few weeks ago, and was very impressed with the quick reply front the office..
