I used Uber for the first time. It was cheaper than a yellow cab and infinitely better service. The drive popped up at my door within 2-minutes. There was no tip required and the driver was polite.
I like that one can send a star-rating to Uber about the driver. This accountability keeps the drivers on their toes. With yellow taxis, there is almost no accountability for their actions.
I use Uber all the time and appreciate the drivers good manners and the clean cars.
I used the service in Paris last year, and thought their service was even better there
