This is a new paper in the NEJM on the antibody response to the Wuhan virus:
“Our results indicate that antiviral antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 did not decline within 4 months after diagnosis. We estimate that the risk of death from infection was 0.3% and that 44% of persons infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Iceland were not diagnosed by qPCR.”
“We measured SARS-CoV-2–specific antibodies in up to 30,576 persons with six established assays, targeting pan-immunoglobulin (pan-Ig: IgM, IgG, and IgA) antibodies against the nucleoprotein (N) (Roche); pan-Ig antibodies against the receptor binding domain (RBD) in the S1 subunit of the spike protein (pan-Ig anti–S1-RBD) (Wantai); IgM and IgG antibodies against N (IgM anti-N and IgG anti-N) (EDI/Eagle); and IgG and IgA against the S1 subunit of the spike protein (IgG anti-S1 and IgA anti-S1) Euroimmun).”
Why is this important? I was the first person in large media to state that we have likely already reached herd immunity. I then said weeks later that positive-antibody tests do indeed confer immunity and those people can go back to normal life without masks, etc.
However, this is a dangerous thought because it blows a hole in the communist plan to shut down the nation as part of their revolution. So, when Scott Atlas copied me days later, he found himself the target of critics.
This NEJM paper shows that antibodies do indeed last, in contrast to the far-left propaganda. It also spells about how to go about testing for them. One needs a panel of six different antibody tests. If we started testing this way, instead of the useless pointless PCR tests, we could open up the schools, hospitals, and then rest of life soon.
People with antibodies do not need a vaccine. Herd immunity and natural antibodies are always the best way to end a viral spread.
Vaccines are needed when the viral disease is too deadly to endure, such as small pox, polio, Ebola, etc. However, that is not the case with the Wuhan virus. In this scamdemic, more than 99% of people have not died from it.
