Liberty View Chinese close to being shut down?

On the Department of Health website listed numerous violations at Liberty View and recommended the establishment be shut down. We called the restaurant and the lady who answered the phone claimed no management was there. She then screamed at us, “Who are you? It is none of your business. Do not call.”

Violations recorded in the following area (s), a Notice of Violation issued and establishment ordered closed by the Department of Health at the initial operational pre-permit inspection conducted on 08/30/2011.
“Critical” violations are displayed in red.
Violation points: 76

 

Sanitary Violations
1) Hot food item not held at or above 140º F.
2) Cold food item held above 41º F (smoked fish and reduced oxygen packaged foods above 38 ºF) except during necessary preparation.
3) Food Protection Certificate not held by supervisor of food operations.
4) Live roaches present in facility’s food and/or non-food areas.
5) Food not protected from potential source of contamination during storage, preparation, transportation, display or service.
6) Food contact surface not properly washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any activity when contamination may have occurred.
7) Sanitized equipment or utensil, including in-use food dispensing utensil, improperly used or stored.
8 Facility not vermin proof. Harborage or conditions conducive to attracting vermin to the premises and/or allowing vermin to exist.
9) Non-food contact surface improperly constructed. Unacceptable material used. Non-food contact surface or equipment improperly maintained and/or not properly sealed, raised, spaced or movable to allow accessibility for cleaning on all sides, above and underneath the unit.

 

On re-inspection days later:

Establishment authorized to reopen after inspection conducted on 09/02/2011.
“Critical” violations are displayed in red.
Violation points: 10
Sanitary Violations

2) Facility not vermin proof. Harborage or conditions conducive to attracting vermin to the premises and/or allowing vermin to exist.
