Little League opening day attracts the unworthy taking credit

The ballfields were opened this morning and Little League was able to commence the season on schedule. Showing up for the photo-op, like flies to honey, were every imaginable elected official. Even some unelected people wedged themselves into view, such as Mark Costello (who helped create the ballfields) and BPCA board member Martha Gallo (who did not). We found this quite offensive since many of the people now claiming credit for the ballfields opening on time not only did nothing to help, but in some cases were working against the efforts.
