June 24, 2015- The Post reports, “Attorney General Eric Schneiderman will investigate deaths at the hands of police officers under an executive order being signed by Gov. Cuomo, it was announced on Tuesday.

Schneiderman, who will serve in the post for a year, was Cuomo’s Plan B.

The governor tried to enact sweeping criminal-justice reform that would have included a special prosecutor but couldn’t reach agreement on different bills offered by the Assembly, state Senate and his office.”
