On Saturday, September 6th, 2014, a tour bus was illegally parked in the turning lane on North End Ave. This is a moving violation and not just a routine parking ticket.

The PEP officers on duty refused to respond, claiming that it is not their jurisdiction.

BatteryPark.TV then called the First Precinct, and they promptly sent out a car. Before it arrived, a traffic cop handled the problem. However, the bus returned, and the First Precinct car told the bus driver woman to leave for good. They were prepared to issue the driver a ticket.

I saw a hop-on-hop-off tourist bus coming around W Thames to turn right on South End Avenue. Huh?

I can only imagine they want to pass the memorial from Liberty. Otherwise, do tell. What’s to see in South End Avenue? Natives?

Agree with Kloreece. What the hell is there to see in South End Avenue? Looks like those tourists are being ripped off…
