I tried the Jean-Georges Nougatine cheeseburger tonight, as the second course of my meal after the baked cod. I was expecting a disappointment. Every French fine chef mutilates the American cheeseburger.
But son of a gun, he nailed it. It’s all a matter of opinion, but to my liking, he uses the perfect blend of beef, not too thick, and the perfect bun. The fries are good too.
The butterscotch pudding is outrageously tasty too.
