Num pang brisket sandwich and juiceDecember 5, 2015- by Steven E. Greer

In my revisiting of Hudson Eats, I continue to be pleased, this time with Num Pang. I have never eaten there before because their lack of display made me leery. I had no idea what the sandwiches or other items looked like. They need to improve upon that.

I ordered the beef brisket sandwich, and was hoping to get something much like Khe-Yo’s (Laotian food) light baguette bread. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very light and crispy bread just like the Michelin-rated Khe-Yo.

The beef brisket and Cambodian sauces were a nice change of pace from the usual sandwich.

I almost skipped the drinks, because the prices were too high. Then, I realized that they make the juices in-house, so $3.00 was actually cheap.

The service was fine too. They do not engage in that tip-shaming nonsense that Mighty Quinn’s uses to extort the customer into paying the wages of their staff.
