July 16, 2013- Union Square’s newest fining dining restaurant, North End Grill, on the Conrad Hotel block, used to have the best array of 33 degree tap beers. For unknown reasons, they changed the brands up, no longer offering crisp pilsner lagers, such as Captain’s Kölsch. Around the corner on the block, Blue Smoke has a few on tap that are more drinkable than the Heineken-skunky ones found at North End Grill. But the best beer on tap of the entire bock is found at Shake Shack, with the ShackMeister Ale.
