January 20, 2014- Opened last October by BPC resident Val Chan, a mother and college stats professor, Stitched Tribeca teaches sewing and craft classes to children and adults. Her website explains, “Stitched Tribeca is a mix of workshop, gallery and retail. We offer regularly scheduled sewing classes, pop-up DIY workshops and unique, functional hand crafted items dreamed up and created by local makers. We also carry a curated selection of fun must-have crafting supplies and tools.”
