Struggling Block Party needs your help

July 11, 2013- The annual BPC Block Party has been getting less impressive by the year, to put it nicely. Last year, the attendance was down and there were mostly lame commercial displays by local shops wanting more business, with an inflatable house paid for by the BPCA (we think). Capping it off was a nauseating stage display of local officials and appointed busybodies self-congratulating themselves for nonexistent accomplishments (Or was that the August police event? I am confused).

At one point, some of the long-time organizers claimed to have “retired” from organizing the event, but are still at it.

The Block Party needs new blood. There will be a meeting tonight for that very reason, onboard the North Cove Marina’s Arabella ship.
