JUST IN: A surprisingly bad job report. The US economy LOST -23,000 jobs in July (way below expectations of +80k). May and June were revised DOWN by a combined -103,000. Unemployment rate: 4.1% ->This went down for the WRONG reasons. Over 260,000 left the labor force Wage growth: 3.2% –>this is entirely wiped out by inflation
From the Oval Office:
- NEWS: A federal appeals court has ruled that Trump’s proposed White House ballroom cannot be built without congressional approval, affirming an injunction blocking construction. The D.C. Circuit said Congress has not given the executive branch authority to “dramatically redesign, reshape, and reconstruct the White House—the People’s House—to fit a particular President’s desires.” The ruling is stayed for 14 days to allow an appeal to the Supreme Court.

- Texas Children’s Hospital has agreed to open the nation’s first “detransition clinic” and provide free care for 5 years to former gender-transition patients. The hospital will also pay $10 million. This should be happening nationwide.
- Key terms of the settlement: • The hospital pays $10 million (most of it going to the state of Texas). • It must create the nation’s first dedicated “detransition clinic” — a multidisciplinary clinic offering care (endocrinology, surgery, primary care, fertility counseling, psychiatry/psychotherapy, speech pathology, case management, etc.) for patients who previously underwent gender-transition procedures. • Care through the clinic will be free for the first five years, funded by the hospital. • Five doctors lose their privileges at the hospital and cannot be rehired/credentialed there. • The hospital must stop providing “sex-rejecting” / gender-transition procedures going forward and update its policies accordingly.

Business and Fundamentals News:
- Elon Musk fires his Chief of Censorship Nikita Bier is the Mossad agent, literally, that Elon Musk allowed to censor Twitter X. All of that is a fact. I’m not a conspiracy theorist. Well, Elon fired him yesterday. I’ve sent the head of legal at Twitter multiple legal demands, including a fully drafted lawsuit, ready to file. I doubt that my censorship problem will improve. This development is just more evidence that I can obtain during discovery to prove that X is illegally censoring people in violation now of consent decrees.
