The United States Has Become the Banana Republic It Used to Mock

In my lifetime, I have watched legacy media portray second-rate countries as “banana republics,” complete with the usual clichés of communist dictators with eccentric appearances and behavior, laughable state-sponsored propaganda that lies openly to a subservient population, no real rule of law, and militaries that could not possibly challenge the United States.

It just occurred to me that, right now, The United States of America is fitting many of those same clichés. The scenarios we once thought to be laughable have been foisted upon us. The communists have subverted the country for more than 100 years, and they are now coming out in the open from under their rocks.

President Trump’s behavior and appearance often come across as erratic and over-the-top. The gaslighting has reached absurd levels. He now claims some kind of decisive victory over Iran, yet Iran still controls key terms and continues disrupting the Strait of Hormuz. Iran will now be charging each ship $2 million in fees. To quote Bane from Batman, “Do you feel in charge”.

These days, it seems as if all Trump does is gaslight. His inner circle and media allies repeat the same lines like state-sponsored propagandists in any third-world regime. The North Korean talking puppets are less egregious than White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

It feels like a coup has taken place. The New York Times reported that Israel’s Mossad was inside The White House situation room influencing the decision to start a war with Iran. This is consistent with my essays. Something strange is happening for sure. Outside influences are shaping our military strategy. We just entered a major war alongside Israel against Iran, which is backed by China and Russia, and we lost because it was unwinnable. Trump had to oust senior military leaders weeks ago in order to push an ill-fated lame-brained plan to confiscate nearly 1,000 pounds of uranium from Iran. The C-130s got stuck on the makeshift landing strip and were then blown up. An unknown number of American soldiers were killed.

Our military has burned through enormous amounts of conventional weapons and bombs during the Iran conflict. China and Russia, who backed Iran, are openly mocking us and treating the U.S. military as second-rate. Just like in every other war in recent decades, the United States lost. We are a military that no longer wins wars because the leadership is subverted (i.e., not because of the members of the military), and our adversaries know it.

The USA used to hold the moral high ground. America abided by the Geneva Conventions and held itself to higher standards. But in this recent Iran war, we partnered with Israel as it bombed civilian buildings and committed other atrocities. That is un-American. Right now, as we speak, Israel is blowing up civilian buildings in Lebanon after having leveled Gaza since 2023. That is satanic.

Our currency is losing value in ways that echo hyperinflation in failing states. The U.S. dollar increasingly resembles a Ponzi scheme sustained by endless borrowing. Our national debt now stands at nearly $39 trillion, with the debt-to-GDP ratio around 137 percent. Those levels that are clearly unsustainable long-term.

The rule of law has eroded in large parts of the country. Too many federal and state judges, especially in certain blue states, seem to act as political activists, issuing rulings that stretch or ignore the Constitution. Law schools increasingly teach interpretations that prioritize ideology over the original text.

High crime is indicative of the lack of law and order we see every day. Every day there is something horrible in the news. Today, for example, a Haitian illegal alien was arrested after using a hammer to beat an innocent woman to death outside a convenience store. A couple of years ago, Debrina Kawam was burned to death on a New York subway. Then, there was the case of Iryna Zarutska, a woman in Charlotte who was stabbed to death on a light rail train. All of this crime is by design. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson have openly pushed policies that treat incarceration as racist, immoral, and unholy, claiming we cannot jail our way out of violence. It is part of the communist agenda to destabilize society by unleashing violent criminals.

Legacy media has become pure propaganda. CBS, now under significant influence from the Ellison family with ties to pro-Trump and pro-Israel perspectives, pushes one narrative, while other outlets serve as mouthpieces for Chinese interests or domestic radical agendas that promote divisive DEI and woke policies, harming national cohesion.

Most Americans still do not fully see how our nation has fallen because daily life retains a surface normalcy. You can still drive to the convenience store and shop. But beneath that, heavy personal debt burdens millions, and the temporary illusion of freedom is fraying.

After the midterms, we risk a sharper slide into outright radical policies. Look at New York City’s Mayor Mamdani pushing racial equity plans and proposals that shift tax burdens in ways that target certain groups and neighborhoods. In many cultural and political ways, the United States now resembles the very banana republics we used to laugh at on TV.

There is no single reason for the destruction of the America we used to know. One powerful force fighting for control of our desirable assets has been the classic communist gang of elites. For over 100 years, their detailed playbook of subversion and infiltration of all aspects of society has worked. Separately, there are the globalists and oligarchs represented by Larry Fink’s BlackRock and the WEF. Also, with the Epstein files, the world has been shown the secret Satanic cultures that dictate the Zionist project of Israel. However, the same satanic rituals cross over to non-Jewish shadow leaders, like President Trump. It is all one big satanic cabal destroying Christian culture.

I never thought I would live to see my own country mirror those old clichés so closely. What is happening from the Oval Office is actually more ridiculous than some of the Saturday Night Live parodies. We are all too close to it and cannot see the forest through the trees.

It is time to use the 25th Amendment.
