May 10, 2015- The FDNY “Hook & Ladder 8” firehouse in Tribeca will be closing for at least two years, supposedly for “renovations”. We spoke with a firefighter there today who was very skeptical that the house would ever reopen.
This firehouse was made famous because it was where Hollywood filmed the movie Ghostbusters.
Thanks for posting this. Somehow the Firehouse ought to be kept as a NY landmark!!
