Despite several new traffic lights being installed, the portion of North End Avenue in front of the Conrad Hotel continues to be a death trap. Tonight, at 6:30 Pm, and again earlier in the week, two different pedestrians have been struck by motor vehicles. The victim tonight was a woman hit by a civilian car (not a taxi) as she crossed over to the Irish Memorial.
