Whole Foods revenue drops after overcharging scandal

Whole-Foods-zuchiniJuly 30, 2015- The WSJ reports, “Whole Foods Market Inc. said sales growth slowed sharply last month following allegations that it overcharged customers in New York, contributing to another disappointing quarter for the natural-foods grocer. Whole Foods said Wednesday that sales at established stores rose 1.3% in the three months ending July 5—its weakest growth since 2009 during the economic downturn.”
