BatteryPark.TV previously reported how Bob Townley’s Tribeca community center is making a grab for the soon-to-close Stuyvesant Community Center, which is a gymnasium and swimming pool. The Battery Park City Authority (BPCA) had been funding it, but with the opening of nearby Asphalt Green, the center is less essential.
