Bâtard takes home the big prize at the Oscars of food

My favorite chef and restaurant, Marcus Glocker and Bâtard, won the Best New Restaurant award at the James Beard ceremonies in Chicago last night. This is one of the few categories that seems to have some merit.

Austrian food is becoming a new trend, thanks to Chef Glocker. There are more of them opening in Tribeca.
