At the June 4 meeting of the BPC subcommittee of the Manhattan Community Board 1 (CB1), Matt Best of the Office of Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, presented the first specific design plans for the proposed West Thames Bridge. Recall, the last time that the city spoke publicly about the bridge was on February 27th, 2013, to the BPCA board, and there were no designs whatsoever drafted. The designs at that time were just artist renderings and not real architectural designs.
