January 15, 2015- We previously reported how the state senate will have to confirm Governor Cuomo’s choice for the new BPCA Chairman. Dennis Mehiel’s term has expired. He might be re-appointed or replaced. We asked whether State Senator Dan Squadron will put up a fight since he has publicly called for the dismantling of the BPCA.
This might be hint. Squadron and the other electeds wrote a letter to the governor calling for the BPCA board to be comprised of actual residents from BPC.
