The girls (9 to 10 ages) Downtown Little League All Star Softball Team just beat Garden City South, 2 to 0, in the 3rd game of the Section Tournament. They play in the Section Championship this Friday. This is the first time a team from Downtown Little has ever competed in a Little League Section Championship! It is a big deal! The winner goes to the State Championship. The game is this Friday against Staten Island’s South Shore Little League.
