The Director of Battery Operations and Planning at the Battery Conservancy (the 25-acre park south of Battery Park City), Pat Kirschner, has stepped down. She ran the park and organized the construction crews for President Warrie Price.
Her email replies, “Thank you for your email. As of September 13th, Pat Kirshner is no longer with The Battery Conservancy. For questions, please contact Steve Lagerstrom”
We are awaiting details.
September 16, 2013- The Battery Park Conservancy told us that Ms. Kirschner took a new job at the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
