We have earned that the semicircular pastry counter at Le District will be converted into an ice cream shop soon. The ice cream will be made in-house.
There is a big unmet demand for real ice cream in Manhattan. For unknown reasons, no one has been smart enough to open an ice cream shop. There is “gelato” or “soft-serve” or “yogurt”, but no fricken ice cream in New York.
