February 3, 2015- The new French restaurant under construction inside Brookfield place called L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon received a vote of approval by the CB1 for their liquor license. It will be located on the second floor over P.J. Clarke’s, as well as on the first floor where the old Starbucks used to be (facing the ice rink that is in place now).
Will there be enough demand Downtown for such a high ticket fine dining restaurant? nearby will also be the Poulakakos attempt at French, Le District, and over in the WTC will be Eataly and another French place.
