More violent crime by the Staten Island ferry terminal

Staten Island ferry terminalAugust 5, 2015- BatteryPark.TV has previously warned of the hot spots for violent crime Downtown, with the Staten Island ferry terminal being the worst.

DNAinfo reports, “A Brooklyn woman who was walking with three children and a friend was punched and robbed near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal last week, police said. The 21-year-old victim told police that two men approached her and the kids from behind as they were making their way north on Whitehall Street just after midnight on Aug. 1, according to police reports. One man punched the victim, while the other swiped a Nintendo DS handheld game console, before they both fled, police said.”
