No Atlantic Hurricane in August, First Time in 11 Years

NASA image of sandstormAugust 30, 2013- Bloomberg is reporting that there has been no hurricane this month, which is a first since 2002. The reason is a massive dust storm in Africa, where the hurricanes form, with sand in the atmosphere floating all the way to South America, disrupting cloud formation.
