August 13, 2013- A blog is reporting that Peter Poulakakos is looking to get into the nightclub business on Bowery Street. The Poulakakos is in the process of expanding immensely into Battery Park City with Pier A and a huge Eataly-like market in the Brookfield Place.
The article states, “As earlier reported, the full board of the State Liquor Authority will drop the proverbial gavel regarding OP-1268378 later today. That’s the proposal for the new nightlife venture at 146 Bowery by the hand of Peter Poulakakos. And the neighbors aren’t too happy with the intrusion, especially given the high nightlife saturation of that block (the corner of Broome).”
