July 29, 2016- DNAinfo reports, “The Department of Transportation is studying extending Staten Island Ferry service past the Whitehall stop to Midtown or Wall Street, according to a letter from the DOT Commissioner.
Commissioner Polly Trottenberg pledged to look into adding ferry stops at Wall Street or the East 34th Street docks in a letter sent Thursday to Staten Island Borough President James Oddo.”
