October 1, 2013- The video of the September 26th meeting of the HRPT board is now posted online. The recently opened dog run by Pier 26 was discussed. Rep. Nadler was given the credit for it by appropriating $5 Million in transportation funds, which even Ms. Wils admitted was a confusing source of funds (43:00 mark of the video).
Can’t believe no one is upset about this. All kinds of press and investigations over $750,000 to Manhattan Youth but no one wants to know how a dog run costs $4.8 M? Umm, if it doesn’t, will HRPT have to give it back or will that pay for landscaping of the median of West St?
