Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey might be the sound of the death knell of Old Hollywood. The film was so bad and so big, that it will usher in a new era of AI-generated content.

Nolan represents traditional film-making. He is one of the few directors people can tolerate (although he has not had a good film on quite some time). In The Odyssey, he even used real celluloid film in IMAX size, as opposed to digital, and used no CGI for special effects.

But he also used communist propaganda, presumably in an effort to win an Oscars. He had just witnessed another atrocious film, One Battle After Another, sweep the Oscars. So, like athletes taking steroids because others are doing it, Nolan cheated to please the voters with woke mind virus.

However, Nolan overdid it. The Odyssey is more like a parody. The real Rotten Tomatoes score is 56% and the communists have bots rigging it to shoe 98%. The box office revenue will not pay off the costs.

Because Nolan was so respected, representing what was left of Hollywood, his Odyssey will be known as the last straw that broke the camel’s back.

Elon Musk knows this and is creating with Mel Gibson, possibly, a $100 million AI version of The Odyssey. It looks pretty good already. Elon is using AI to intentionally kill old Hollywood.

Christopher Nolan arrogantly cast himself as the modern Odysseus: the heroic filmmaker who would return to save Hollywood’s decaying kingdom from the arrogant suitors who had overrun it. Instead, his disastrous Odyssey film became the final nail in the coffin, ironically finishing off the very industry he dreamed of restoring.
