Update April 2, 2016- Today was moving day.
Update February 22, 2016- The unethical Broadsheet reported on these closures today, not referencing our exclusive story. They claim that Le Pain Quotidien will occupy the space when the nail salon, cafe, and news shop are evicted. If true, that seems like an upgrade.
Update February 6, 2016- We are hearing that this will happen soon.

BP.TV has learned that the LeFrak-owned real estate at the north side of the Gateway entrance, now occupied by the cafe and nail salon, will be opened up for new commercial tenants. This is in addition to the Chipotle restaurant going in a short distance to the south.
The impact to the community of the LeFrak revitalization could be huge. The most unsightly section of BPC is along the LeFrak side of South End Ave.

Well, I am normally supportive of neighborhood business owners but I have found the feeling isn’t mutual. If this is true, maybe the new business will be appreciative of business and maybe actually say, “hellos” and “thank you.” Common courtesies.
In the photo of Gateway cleaners the Jaguar parked there is parked on South End Ave almost all the time and Never gets a ticket. The owner lives in Gateway and doesn’t appear to be an invalid.
I hear a rumour that the Play School in the Gateway building facing North Cove is also going to close an be replaced by another restaurant to cater to the yacht people
