Can I buy you a thank you meal before you go for all your great journalism? I am tied up on a huge filing this weekend but would be free this week.

Now that you’re gone, who’s going to keep us informed?

    Hi
I have read your blog since its inception. I must admit I was disappointed you moved since you are the only voice of honesty in Battery Park.

Without a doubt, you did, and still do, really great work, as I have said many times. You contributed to the good of the community.

In the end, all politics is local.

You helped inform the locals as to the problems of the community and hence, they could effect change in their world.

You provided information and as we all know. Information is power.

    Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to add my voice to the appreciation expressed here. As a result of your reporting regarding Gateway’s extensive heat problems in their complex…specifically the 311 lawsuit, we managed to do what could not be done since their original settlement of their Federal lawsuit in the 1980’s, provide heat to their tenants.

Your detailing the lawsuit which resulted in their being fined, the class action lawsuit utilized that information to go forward in their pursuit of both repairs, compensation and punishment for Gateways egregious conduct.

Of course, we know, that all the heaters in 1700 apartments were suddenly repaired just after your reporting of that lawsuit.

In my particular instance, the very first day you published something on my action, Gateway was a concerned mess.

You have been a valuable addition to the community and to those who seek justice.

May you continue your good works.
