Court dismisses case against man falsely accused of being child predator

Soccer field 2Update November 27, 2013- The BS is reporting that the poor man with “special needs”, falsely accused of being a child predator, had his case dismissed by the court, under the condition that he is not arrested again. There was no retraction or apology by the BS.

October 30th, 2013- By Steven E. Greer, MD

The local advertising flier, the Broadsheet (BS), reported on September 30th that a scary child abductor was caught and arrested while trying to lure away several children from the ballfields on Murray Street. The report claimed that some of the parents refused to press charges, which elicited strong condemnation from readers. The article was replete with mistakes and the truth is far less sensational. (The original BS article seems to have been removed from BS archives).

At the October 24th monthly community affairs meeting of the First Precinct, Commander Timoney explained that the man arrested was Continue reading

Community Centers are magnets for corruption

Trio arrested

April 3, 2013  Op-Ed By Steven E. Greer, MD

The trials and tribulations of the Battery Park City community center, to be run by Asphalt Green, and also the associated controversies with the nearby Downtown Community Center, managed by Bob Townley’s Manhattan Youth, are not unique to Lower Manhattan. All across the country, “Community Centers” are magnets for corruption as contractors vie for the lucrative builds, vendors fight to win “RFP” contracts, and the politicians in charge extort money, take bribes, or operate in other unethical means.

The perverted “knockout game” violent assaults

https://youtu.be/qF9lV319yg4

November 22, 2013- The local news is covering as the lead story a recent ‘knockout game” attack of a Jewish man in Brooklyn, early Friday morning. All four alleged attackers were arrested, and have long arrest records. BatteryPark.TV was the first to report on this growing problem months ago (full story below). “We inform”.

November 19. 2013- At the October NYPD First Precinct community affairs meeting, a member of the audience asked the police about a topic from a BatteryPark.TV report relating to gangs of young men on bikes randomly assaulting joggers, etc. The Captain of the force seemed to be unaware of our reporting or the incident in question. In fact, some of the NYPD groupies (people who regularly attend the meetings) began to snicker at the BatteryPark.TV reports as uncredible.

Today, the NY Post is reporting that a new violent game has been created called the “knockout game”, Continue reading

With restaurants, various online sites try to use blog comments and surveys to rank restaurants. However, those are subjective and the data are manipulated.

We decided to go straight to the source and analyze what people in Battery Park City South are actually ordering in. We sampled the data from Continue reading
