BatteryPark.TV has extensively reported on the increase of thefts in the city, which has not spared swanky Tribeca and Battery Park. In all of the cases, the crimes were committed by organized groups of thieves targeting unsuspecting victims. People in Tribeca and BPC are unaccustomed to crime and make for the perfect mark.

NYC drug dealer prosecuted for using pit bull as deadly weapon

October 6, 2013- The NYT is reporting, “A drug suspect, being pursued by two plainclothes officers, ran into Mr. Austin’s building. North End Grill stumbles in sophomore year

October 2, 2013- The 2014 Zagat is out, and the North End Grill is not in the top 100. Last year, it opened and debuted as “The Best New Restaurant”. Some changes have already been notice with the menu and other areas. Let’s hope they get the kinks worked out, (more…)

We ran across an astonishing video of a recent CB3 meeting, whereby an organized group of residents called the LES Dwellers opposed a liquor license application. Then, a CB3 member angrily charged the crowd after a woman insinuated he had a conflict of interest for selling a bar to the group requesting a liquor license before his CB3.

Breaking: Shake Shack changes style of French fries
