Battery Park (not BPCA) park officer caught stealing

December 14, 2012 An undercover city Department of Investigations, during a sting operation, handed in a “lost” wallet with $55 in it to a Battery Park Conservancy PEP named Erthal Scott. Jeff Galloway and Bob Townley’s MOU to restrict Asphalt Green is back on the table

The CB1 met tonight, and as BatteryPark.TV correctly forewarned, below, CB1 member Jeff Galloway and other allies of the Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center used the crisis of Hurricane Sandy to revive their MOU that was all but dead before Hurricane Sandy. In appalling secrecy, the Ballfields Task Force, led by lawyer Jeff Galloway, partner of Hughes and Hubbard LLP, drafted a new MOU to include the onerous board of bureaucrats to keep the Asphalt Green managers in check and protect the monopoly enjoyed by Manhattan Youth.

Chair of the CB1 BPC committee, Anthony Notaro, who previously removed from consideration the MOU during the October joint session of the CB1 held at the Seaport Museum, is refusing to make public this pending MOU. Fran Dickson, also a CB1 member, was concerned and confused at how the latest MOU was created and drafted without the CB1 BPC committee ever seeing it. Fellow member Tom Goodkind echoed her concerns.
