The DOT street plans for slowing traffic on West Thames and South End

A nice turnout of concerned citizens walked all the way to City Hall tonight to meet in the Community Board 1 offices and listen to the City DOT present plans for slowing traffic and improving safer in Battery Park City. Of course, “A nice turnout” is a relative term and compared to the normal meeting of this nature. The first CB1 and DOT meeting had only one CB1 member in attendance and the fate of this important issue was set to be decided without real public input.

BPC wife hires hitman to off hubby

August 30, 2013- The Post is reporting that 57-year-old Romanina national Elena Adams of BPC hired a hitman to murder her husband, but was arrested by cops in Brooklyn instead. She tried to use a stamp collection to pay the hitman. The arrested Adams lived in Gateway Plaza (of course). (more…)

BatteryPark.TV has previously reported on the long delays in the opening of the Asphalt Green facility caused by contract disputes between then CEO of the BPCA, Gayle Horwitz, and Asphalt Green. Hired by Ms. Horwitz, Anne Fenton was the chief architect of a lengthy misinformation strategy to explain to the outraged community that the delays were due to city permit processes, rather than the actual contract standoff.
